Technical Program Product Manager

As a Technical Program Manager in this contract position, you will be central to the enhancement of digital music experience. You will be responsible for the planning and execution of programs by leading cross-functional teams across various groups in a hugely popular, high-visibility company. You will handle competing priorities expertly by understanding the client's vision and you will provide recommendations based on your data analysis. You will think critically and be able to make decisions independently but you will have a collaborative method of working with your teammates and business stakeholders.

For this role, we are looking for a hybrid talent of both project and program management to help create the best digital music experience for customers on an international scope.

Role Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop product requirements and overall product road map.

* Define and deliver software applications.

* Collaborate with technical and design teams to define and design products with the best customer experience.

* Drive the implementation and delivery of products. Lead agile engineering and design teams to coordinate, prioritize and deliver to an aggressive road map.

* Articulate program goals, desired outcomes, risks/issues and mitigation plan clearly to both business and technical roles.

* Understand key dependencies, communicate clear project status and develop strategies to meet aggressive timelines.

* Support and enhance existing products with thoughtful and measurable impact.

Basic Qualifications

* 3+ years or relevant program management experience, combined with project management exposure

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience in demonstrated work experience

* Experience in managing highly-complex technical programs with solid data analysis, software engineering and program management skills

* Strong sense of ownership and accountability for program success

* Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

* Deep understanding of software development and proven track record of achieving program objectives on schedule, on budget and meeting quality criteria

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience building and launching consumer software for web, mobile, or desktop

* Exceptional customer relationship skills including the ability to discover the true requirements underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions

This contract position is expected to be 6 months in duration.
