37 TRG Sr. Systems Technician

This position is located in our CA, Port Hueneme facility

The United States Air Force requires high quality professional and technical expertise to provide PC and Systems Support at the 37th Training Group (37 TRG) at Port Hueneme, CA. General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking qualified candidates to provide systems administration support for their information technology environment.


Job Responsibilities: The following duties will be performed in this position:

• Provide systems administration support for stand-alone/network PCs assigned to the 37 TRG including instructional classrooms and server rooms

• Provide computer systems support including but not limited to hardware and software installation, configuration and troubleshooting support for PCs and peripheral devices

• Support Microsoft Windows environments and troubleshoot network and connectivity problems

• Develop server and PC recovery, backup and offsite storage procedures

• Document operating procedures and checklists in support of system hardware and software

• Install general software patches and upgrades. Verify all software load requests with the Site License Manager.

• Install patches, upgrades and firmware updates as specified by Notice to Airmen (NOTAMs), Time Compliance Network Orders (TCNOs) and Network Task Orders (NTOs), in compliance with all Information Assurance and security directives.


Associate's degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.


Minimum of a Security+ certification is required.


Minimum of 3 years of related experience in systems administration.


DoD Secret clearance is required for this position. Position will be at Port Hueneme, CA.
