This position maintains and enhances the company's websites to ensure the company has a strong online presence and that information provided is timely, relevant, and accurate. Will work closely with both Marketing and IT and provide assistance and guidance in the design and implementation of web content. Will participate in identifying and implementing company's long term web strategies.Primary Responsibilities:
Designs new websites and provides design recommendations for existing websites
Creates content, including product and promotional copy, for publishing to Intranet/Internet web sites.
Ensures cross-platform functionality, navigability, usability, and accessibility of Intranet/Internet web sites
Works closely with Marketing staff to assure that web content supports marketing strategies. Makes recommendations to optimize online opportunities
Works closely with IT staff to assure that web applications work correctly and to suggest new features or enhancements. Makes recommendations for web strategies that support the company's marketing goals
Reviews and renews content on Intranet/Internet web sites to ensure accuracy and timeliness of information presented
Maintains guidelines for the look and feel of Intranet/Internet web sites
Ensures that web sites comply with state and federal regulations
Reviews and edits content that is submitted for publishing to Intranet/Internet web sites from various business areas
Qualifications:
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Web Design Communications or related field or Certification in Web Design technologies
3+ years of experience in a Webmaster role managing multiple websites required.
3+ years of experience developing and redesigning websites required.
3+ years of experience writing/editing web content in a marketing capacity required.
Experience with any content management systems (example: Sitecore) required.
Must be able to provide sample of work for consideration.
Assets:
Experience with Sitecore content management system preferred.
Experience in the healthcare industry preferred.
Experience with website analytics tools preferred.
Experience with regulatory agencies for website compliance preferred.
