Provide support in the areas of Accounting, Financial Analysis, Process Documentation and PeopleSoft build-out.
Major Responsibilities:
- Perform various Accounting activities including: Reviewing vendor contracts, purchase orders and invoices and perform GL reconciliations, Journal Entries and month-end close activities
- Produce complex financial / trend analysis and present monthly financial reports regarding trends, variances and performance measurements. Develop financial models to conduct analysis, coordinate with other teams to prepare and present detailed financial analysis
- Assist in the revision of policies and procedures and ensure of compliance. Assist in process documentation, risk assessment, audit and compliance areas. Coordinate the development and implementation of risk and compliance related projects and policies
- Provide representation for the division during PeopleSoft build-out and implementation as well as assistance and guidance once implemented
- Coordinate the resolution of financial questions, issues and reports. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Finance / Accounting degree from a four-year college (e.g. B.A., B.S.)
- 8+ years of technical experience in the fields of Accounting, Finance or equivalent
- Ability to develop and present complex Excel spreadsheets, reports and PowerPoint decks
- Prior experience with PeopleSoft build-out, implementation and being a central knowledge resource
- Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects as well as strong follow through skills
- Ability to complete projects in a timely manner and with accuracy is critical
- Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment
