Technical Support Engineer - Entry Level
Based in San Jose, CA,we are a successful wireless networks based company offering broadband solutions to companies worldwide. We have been experiencing steady growth and are looking to add a Technical Support Engineer to our team. Someone who possesses an exceptional work ethic and a solid passion for what they do. The Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for representing the support organization and assessing product support issues as they arise. The main focus of this position will be debugging and analyzing issues electronically. Successful candidates will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as a high degree of analytical and investigative skills.
What you'll be doing:
• Maintain trouble ticket system to track customer correspondence
• Provide email support to premium customers
• Actively participate in our product support forum
• Work with other support engineers to solve complex issues
• Track / document incoming items returned for RMA
• Generate and review wiki knowledgeable articles
What you need for this position:
• BS Degree is technical field
• 1 year of technically related experience
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Analytical troubleshooting skills
• Absolutely must be a self starter and highly motivated to get things done
• Able to keep up in a faced paced ever changing environment
