If you are an IT Systems Engineer with MRP/EDI experience, please read on!
What you need for this position:
- 3+yrs experience in supporting PC/desktop environments running Windows Server, Office, TCP/IP Local Area Network using Microsoft Servers
- 2+yrs experience with Project Management in an IT environment
- MRP & EDI systems experience (SAP, Oracle)
- Leadership experience with programmers and administrative positions to effectively direct and coordinate staff to achieve clear goals and implement successful solutions
- Printers troubleshooting, Intermec, Zebras, Scanners, RFID and Wireless Technologies
It is a plus if you have:
- ITIL & APICS Certification
- Automotive manufacturing experience
- MES Systems
- MS SQL Server
What you'll be doing:
- Lead I.T. requirements definition for all customer interfaces for sequencing and EDI activities and coordinate with internal and external resources to achieve project goals and deadlines
- Support manufacturing systems related to Trans4M MRP systems, data collection systems, administrative applications, and other implemented applications, as required
- Support users in Materials, Finance and Warehouse when required with application questions and problems related to Trans4M, MRP, EDI
- Support moves, adds and changes for PC hardware and software as well as provide direct support to office and shop-floor users
- Document software and hardware processes; promote organization and labeling of all IT equipment
- Perform PC hardware and software installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting
- Support the maintenance and troubleshooting requirements of information systems for a manufacturing environment operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
