JOB DESCRIPTION: Manage inpatient coding and Clinical Documentation Improvement Work in collaboration with other hospital departments such as patient access, clinical services, patient financial services, medical staff, information services, etc., Maintain strong regulatory and lead compliance Serve as educator for the coder and CDI specialists Hire, train, schedule, develop, direct and evaluate associates for department Assist with development and maintenance of policies and procedures Preferred candidate has: 2+ years of acute care hospital inpatient coding experience Certification either in CCS, CPC, RHIA or RHIT strongly preferred
