Position Summary:

As a Manufacturing Consultant in our Performance business unit, you will have the opportunity to work with clients in the manufacturing industry to help them implement operational process improvements to drive performance and profitability.


Assist on analysis (cycle time/takt time studies, inventory analysis, functional area process mapping, quality, maintenance etc), plus implementation and change management skills, including kaizen and DMAIC skills to drive identified operational improvements to clients' financial statements. Statistical capabilities and strong analytics in addition to the ability to facilitate and lead groups of client personnel are key.


Qualifications:


- Bachelors degree in: Supply Chain Management, Operations or Engineering (or similar).

- 2 to 4 years of experience in a shop-floor manufacturing environment, including Lean, Six Sigma, etc.

- Strong aptitude to perform process analysis and implement solutions.

- Capability to configure system enhancements, reports, and queries.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Willingness to travel overnight.

- Ability to utilize both technical and interpersonal skills to assist clients

- Strong conceptual thinking, creativity and flexibility

- Must be self-sufficient and have the ability to self-manage

- Work well both independently and in a team

- 80% travel
