Multisystem PCU Registered Nurse (RN) Nights

Located in downtown Orlando, Florida Hospital Orlando is the main Florida Hospital campus in Central Florida and uses the latest technology to treat more than 32,000 inpatients and 53,600 outpatients annually. This 1,080-bed, acute-care community hospital also serves as a major tertiary facility for much of the Southeast, the Caribbean and South America.

Job/Unit Description:

With 39 private beds on each unit, all patients are on a 24 hours remote telemetry. The diagnosis may include but are not limited to the following: anemia, chest pain, congestive heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, cerebral vascular accident, drug overdose, pneumonia, syncope, vascular insufficiencies, and various post-ops. Nurse patient ratio is 4:1. There is an assistant nurse manager or charge nurse available for each shift. The unit also has a trained monitor technician 24 hours a day and health unit coordinators to complete orders and answer phones for the nursing staff.
