AMC has a 96.5% quality rating (which exceeds state and national averages) and is a regional Level I Trauma Center that receives patients from 67 other hospitals.
Under supervision of the Director/Manager of assigned unit/department, provides leadership and overshight/supervison for the personnel and operations management of assigned nursing units for the designated shifts. Assists Director/Manager in managing the 24 hour operation of the assigned department during their assigned shift and assume those duties when necessary. Contributes to the establishment of routines to ensure excellence in patient care. Provides for the efficient use of resources, establishes use of resources, maintains staff schedule, and assists with evlauation and coaching of personnel. Serves as a role model fo rcustomer service excellence and quality monitoring. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effectie and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
Qualifications
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and 3 years related nursing experience or
Associate's Degree in Nursing and 5 years related nursing experience
Supervisory experience required
