Onsite Project Manager - Banking

IBM is looking for Project Managers (PMs) who excel at leading project teams to deliver our best-of-breed solutions to clients around the world. As an IBM project manager you'll enjoy the diverse challenges, clients, work environments and schedules that come with delivering innovative projects, on-time and on-budget.

The Onshore Project Manager will need to be exceptionally detail oriented with precise trackings and follow-up. The role will manage small to medium projects in the range of $1MM - $2MM. Understanding the complete SDLC Process is required. Communicating effectively, at all levels of the team, including senior management, is a must.

Additional skills include: Managing risk and issues, proactively addressing issues, team management, and multi-cultural navigation. Extensive experience in using MS Project or equivalent project management tool is required. PMI certification is preferred.

Skills for this position require applicants who are equally adept at people, and business management. Besides the knowledge of methods to initialize, plan, execute, control and monitor a project, IBM PMs use skills and leadership competencies for team building, client relations, negotiation, decision making, problem solving and conflict management.

Required

• Bachelor's Degree


• At least 5 years experience in Project Management


• At least 3 years experience in Expertise in MS Project or Equivalent Project Management tool


• At least 2 years experience in Banking Domain Experience


• At least 1 year experience in Enterprise Data Management


• At least 1 year experience in Primavera, Ecosys experience


• At least 1 year experience in Project execution experience with ETL, SOA & MDM technologies.


• At least 1 year experience in WMB 8.0


• At least 1 year experience in DataPower


• At least 1 year experience in WTX


• At least 1 year experience in MQ, CICS


• English: Basic knowledge

Preferred

• At least 7 years experience in Project Management


• At least 5 years experience in Expertise in MS Project or Equivalent Project Management tool


• At least 3 years experience in Banking Domain Experience
