Based in Carlsbad, CA, we are a rapidly growing internet services company. Hotels, public venues, and communities use us to design, integrate, and support high-speed internet. Currently, we are looking for a Web Developer with strong PHP and Javascript skills and experience building out large scale, high availability web applications. Solid capabilities on the API, Network Protocol, MVC, and SQL front would be perfect for the team's needs at the moment.

We are willing to offer an excellent compensation package including a base salary, that ranges between $70k-100k and full benefits. We also offer a relaxed work environment, plenty of room for growth, and the opportunity to have a visible contribution to the development team.

Requirements:

-Experience building out large scale, high availability web-based applications in PHP and JavaScript

-Very knowledgeable with object-oriented design and analysis

-Solid API experience using technologies like SOAP, REST, JSON, XML, etc.

-Strong with relational database concepts and design (SQL)

-Good understanding of security and web development best practices

-MVC architecture experience, preferably with Zend

-Skill with version control systems like Git and Subversion

-Experience with unit testing and peer code review

-Strong server and network administration skills

-Highly knowledgable with network protocols like HTTP, DNS, SSH, SMTP, and SNMP

Nice to have skills

-Experience with the ExtJS JavaScript framework

-Low level language experience with Perl, C, Python, etc.

-Mobile web development experience
