About the Opportunity
The Production Analyst will be a part of the Technical Delivery team responsible for supporting applications for hosted Database Marketing systems.
Responsibilities
Receive and process input feeds. Verify input data quality, including identification and communication of variances and potential issues. Verify program execution. Perform file transfers. Maintain, adhere and update production schedules. Manage the quality and timeliness of updates and output deliverables. Send all outputs to appropriate location (FTP, e-mail, shipping etc.). Monitor system up time and follow escalation procedures if system is unexpectedly unavailable. Communicate production issues to client and project team
Qualifications
Qualifications:
UNIX - ability to install jobs, monitor system health and do some light scripting
SQL - able to perform queries, DBA type tasks including creating tables, monitoring performance etc.;
PL/SQL – Able to read and understand the PL/SQL code/logic.
Minimal understanding/experience working with Oracle PL/SQL is required
Scheduling tools (like Maestro, etc) a plus;
Ability to work off hours and some weekends required
