What you need for this position:
• Extensive experience as a Systems/Network administrator
• Extensive Experience with: CentOS and Ubuntu distribution familiarity, deb, and rpm software packaging
• Experience/ background troubleshooting both with hardware and software in a Linux environment.
• Experience/ background working with large scale Linux deployments using automation (Jenkins/Hudson), configuration Management(Chef), monitoring (Nagios), access control (LDAP),
• In depth knowledge of core networking/security practices VLANs, ACLs, and SSL
• Extensive experience with communication/documentation skills
• Experience with: CI servers, push button deploys, time series data stores, metrics dashboards, and centralized logging
What you'll be doing:
• Designing, developing, and deploying network, system and application infrastructure to AWS – in order to support a high traffic website and back-end applications. .
• Analyzing and building out infrastructure on EC2, S3, Beanstalk, SNS, SQS, SMS, etc..
• Supporting production hardware and applications to provide constant uptime.
• Assisting in the support of staging and development environments.
• Implementing network infrastructure to grow our gaming communities.
• Maintaining and growing our systems and operations documentation repository.
• Configuring systems and networks
• Monitoring site stability, performance, and troubleshoot issues
• Ensuring system and network security
• Developing custom tools and automation processes
• Documenting system design and procedures
