THIS POSITION IS REPRESENTED BY LOCAL 799 BARGAINING UNIT.

Location: Kalkaska Service Center -Organization: Gas T&S Kalkaska

SENIOR REPAIR Employee shall be capable of and may be required to perform various duties including:

· Installing, operating, maintaining and repairing equipment and structures. .

· Balancing large engines, ability to program air/fuel ratios controls, assisting with scheduling and record keeping of maintenance projects. Troubleshoot and repair engine ignition systems. Relief valve testing on engines and compressors and acting as a crew leader.

· Clean and blow liquid meters and adjust or repair regulators and relief valves associated with skid mounted field compressor facilities.

·Ability to perform all of the duties of a Repair Employee, pass the appropriate test and demonstrates that he/she can perform the duties and qualifies as a Senior Repair Employee.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Valid Driver's license.

- Position regulated by Department of Transportation (DOT) Drug Testing Guidelines. DOT drug screen required for employees transferring from a non-DOT-covered position.

- New hires or transfers from outside the T&SO bargaining unit must hold a Mechanic Certification from State of Mich. in the Heavy Duty Truck repair category for Engine Repair-Gasoline before being placed in the classification. The individual must then pass the remaining portions of the qualification within the one hundred and eighty (180) day qualification period. INTERESTED PERSONS MAY APPLY AT
