Senior Sales/Account Manager

Position Description:

The Senior Sales Manager services the customer and promotes PGW products and capabilities through planning, development and execution that is consistent with Account Plans and SBU Strategies. The incumbent participates on a customer team that maximizes effectiveness through internal and external communication and customer “obsession”. The incumbent is driven to achieve the SBU and account objectives looking to grow both new business and value-added to existing business. The incumbent utilizes manufacturing, marketing and research groups within PGW to achieve objectives. S/he is also responsible for the day-to-day management of some of the smaller accounts.


A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience with a minimum of ten years of experience managing customer accounts for large organizations are required. The incumbent must have an aptitude for the selling experience and maintain a positive customer presence, utilizing professional verbal and written communication skills.


The incumbent must have demonstrated interpersonal relationship-building skills, as well as negotiating skills and be able to understand and apply value propositions. S/he must possess the interpersonal skill sets that accomplish the aforementioned, including listening skills, customer service focus, problem-solving, decision-making and conflict resolution.


The position will be eligible for a full spectrum of benefits including company car and bonus program.


The incumbent must be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of products: EXCEL, Word, Power Point, Access, Project and Outlook.
