We are growing fast, and right now we have an immediate job opening for a Software / Chemistry Engineer (Chemometrics) to come join our team in Houston, TX

What you need for this position:

- Candidate must be a US citizen

- BS degree (MS or higher is preferred) in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Applied Statistics or similar

- 3 years of relevant industry experience

- Data, statistical, or graphical analysis experience

It would be great if you had:

- Experience in R programming environment, Matlab, Mathematica or similar

- Familiarity with compressive and adaptive measurement techniques

- Familiarity with signature analysis techniques

- Previous experience writing data interpretation routines for chemical analyzers

- Experience in machine learning algorithms or pattern recognition

- Programming in the Qt environment

- Familiarity with ion trap systems modeling

What you'll be doing:

- Writing software algorithms to interpret mass spectra using chemometric techniques

- Developing library matching algorithms for mass spectrometers

- Defining and implementing algorithms to deconvolute mass spectra

- Interpreting mass spectra
