Responsibilities

• Draft acquisition, employment, production services and ad sales representation agreements for network sports entities




• Analyze contracts, providing necessary contractual and research information to VPs and SVP, providing rights analysis in response to business requests




• Work with network executives on a variety of sweepstakes, contests and other promotional activities




• Draft employment, blogger and master services agreements for Digital business

  • Four year college degree preferred but not required.
  
  
  
  
  • 3-5 or more years of paralegal experience in a fast-paced environment required.
  
  
  
  
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel is required. Experience with Adobe Acrobat and Accutrac preferred.
  
  
  
  
  • Must have excellent written (including legal drafting) and verbal communication skills, and strong negotiation skills.
  
  
  
  
  • Ability to read and write in Spanish, and previous experience with legal issues arising from sweepstakes and contests a strong plus.
  
  
  
  
  • Must be detail-oriented with the ability to independently prioritize work and handle multiple tasks with set deadlines.
  
  
  
  
  • Excellent organizational and tracking skills required.
  
  
  
  
  • Because of exposure to high level confidential information, a high level of integrity, discretion and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals is required.
  
  
  
  
  • Must be able to complete a high volume of tasks and projects quickly with little guidance, and react with appropriate urgency to situations and events that require a quick response or turn around.
  
  
  
  
  • Must be client-service oriented, with great attention to detail while still meeting tight deadlines, and able to easily switch gears.
  
  
  
  
  • Willingness to work in a team setting is essential.
