- Generate AFEs for well work, run economics, track LOE, set production goals, and assist on production/capital accruals
- Perform nodal analysis, production optimization through completion design, APB analysis, tubing stress analysis, metallurgy, and gravel pack proppant selection.
- Production optimization duties include detailed field studies to generate recompletions, workovers, gas lift optimization, paraffin cutting, and well optimization.
- Thru-tubbing and rig related projects, design completions and coordinate work offshore.
- Design detailed completions from cased hole frac packs
- Production facilities handling and compressor design and optimization
Qualifications
Required Education, Preferred Skills and Competencies
- Minimum of BSc degree in Engineering or related field
- 10 to 15 years oil & gas industry experience working in multi-disciplinary teams adding value through application of reservoir management skills
- Substantial work experience with Gulf Coast shelf assets
- Able to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines without compromising safety or quality
- Good knowledge of facilities and field operations
- Demonstrated ability to use engineering principles to solve problems and identify field enhancement opportunities
- Strong computer and analytical skills. Competent in use of Excel for mathematical analysis, as well as Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of BOEMRE governmental filing requirements
