Responsibilities:
• Applies experience of multifunctional technical areas to accomplish company objectives established for the Technical Service Department.
• Performs work under limited supervision related to product design, quality, reliability, performance, GMP/ISO compliance, safety, cost requirements and after sales service.
• Establishes audit plans, conducts internal audits and prepares audit reports
• Assess qualifications and inspection procedures for spare parts
• Directs and supports engineering activities on products, processes and information systems related to Technical Service needs world wide.
• Manages test equipment calibrations and performs evaluation of out of tolerance conditions on product performance
• Develops and manages department standard operating procedures
• Works with other engineers and team members on variety of projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Must have a BS degree in an Engineering field and one year of practical experience in an engineering position
• Requires a high level of verbal and written communications
• Must be highly PC computer literate and capable
Preferred Qualifications
• 3 years of engineering experience in the medical device industry
• Experience with or background in Quality related ISO or FDA auditing
