VP of Recruiting

The primary purpose of the job is to:

This position is responsible for developing and promoting recruiting programs to hire new branch managers as well as new representatives for existing offices. Manages all aspects of recruiting registered representatives to the firm as well manage the daily operations of the Broker Dealer recruiting department. Will be responsible for planning strategies, advertising and other promotional campaigns to meet department objectives.

Major Job responsibilities/Duties:

Support financial recruiting objective determined as part of the budget process for the coming fiscal year in alignment with the Advisor Group objectives by prospecting and qualifying, potential OSJ / Branch Manager quality recruits generating 100K - 500K gross dealer concession, developing a process for prospecting, developing, and closing OSJs / Registered Representatives, evaluating potential OSJ’s business practices for profitability, risk and sustainability, reviewing FINRA and credit history of prospects, traveling to OSJs’ offices for on-site consultative meetings, maintaining and adhering to department budget, answering prospective recruit’s questions and concerns regarding Broker Dealer in coordination with SVP/VP Recruiting, finance and other functional support departments. Consults with OSJs / Managers to identify and implement branch recruiting strategies to drive growth of affiliated offices. Recruiter should be capable of effectively interacting with advisors at a level to explain Broker Dealer platforms.
