Responsibilities: As Water Sector Leader for Tri-State Region, the primary responsibility is to develop new business and build the local technical team to implement projects related to water supply, wastewater treatment, and stormwater and watershed management. This requires extensive knowledge of clients and opportunities in the Tri-State area and ability to engage with our national Water Sector expertise across North America. Qualifications: Overview Stantec enjoys a leading position across North America within the Water Sector, but is under represented in the Tri-State region. We are looking for the right person to develop new business with major Water Sector clients in NYC and surrounding markets. Professional Engineer registration in New York or ability to obtain a New York PE within six (6) months Minimum of twenty (20) years’ experience on projects showing increasing responsibility with at least ten (10) years in a project management role Impeccable local reputation and client references Proven leadership ability in a Consulting Engineering practice Excellent communication and written skills
