The individual in this position is responsible for coordinating the office processes and providing support to the Director of Case Management, case management and social services staff. The responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following activities; reception, secretarial database maintenance, monthly case management assignments, payor communication, entering authorization numbers and tracking next review dates, preparing reports for committees, record staff meeting minutes, monitor employee compliance such as annual health, performance evaluation, competencies, licensing and other duties as assigned.


Five years minimum secretarial or administrative experience in the health care industry or hospital setting performing function of administrative assistant. Basic knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and other regulatory guidelines preferredl.Organization skills, appropriate for a fast pace envirmonment, able to multitask and handle several projects and maintain deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills also required. Proficiency with computers, in particular the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) is required..
