We are a pre-ipo $400 Million industry leading global digital media company creating a brand new office in the Silicon Valley to head a suit of brand new products focused on the hospitality and entertainment industries.

You will be the key contributor in the development of our data analytics infrastructure and will be leading, managing, and on-boarding a team of direct reports. The ideal candidate that we are looking for is an exceptional senior data architect focused in SaaS applications with a fantastic education and has an awesome mixture of experience with Enterprise and Startup companies.

What you need for this position:

- An exceptional education and/or a proven track record working in a high availability environment with a great mixture of enterprise and startup experience with major cloud based companies like Google, Zynga, Pandora, Yahoo, etc..

- Solid experience with big data analysis, data collection, data reporting, and data visualization for web or mobile applications,

- Experience with tools like Hadoop, Storm, NoSQL,drill, solr, D3

- Extensive experience playing a key role in the development of user activity tracking & reporting, data visualization, and user behavior analysis

What you'll be doing:

- defining the architecture of data collection, reporting, visualization, and analysis for our system

- driving business insights and intelligence from data collected by our system as well as other sources using big data analytics tools

- leading team of developers to implement various parts of the system

- testing, debugging, deploying, and supporting the system
