AUDITOR, SENIOR



Description

IN AN EFFORT TO PROVIDE A MORE HEALTHY, SAFE AND SATISFYING ENVIRONMENT TO OUR EMPLOYEES, INDIVIDUALS TO WHOM JOB OFFERS ARE EXTENDED MAY UNDERGO NICOTINE TESTING AS A PART OF THE PRE-EMPLOYMENT PROCESS.


Senior staff level position established to assist management in identifying, analyzing and managing risks and opportunities, including:


Learning, promoting and upholding the Companys policies and procedures.

Conducting work in the field and in the office, with or without direct supervision, to accomplish audit objectives identified during risk analyses while demonstrating flexibility in responding to changes in assignments and job responsibilities.

Preparing audit programs for review by managers and evaluating results and findings upon completion of audit.

Making practical recommendations for process improvements while ensuring that recommendations reflect an understanding of the business and are clearly presented to and agreed to by management.

Conducting audit follow-up activities.

Communicating results of audit projects to management and operations personnel directly involved with department projects, and as requested, to company senior management and the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors.

Adhering to the departments quality assurance process for planning, analysis, and documentation and reporting on all audit projects.

Staying abreast of best practices and providing a means for introducing those practices to the organizations business units and processes.


Qualifications


Qualifications:


Team player who views his/her role as value added while improving overall operations.

Highly motivated self-starter with ability to multitask and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines.

Bachelors degree in business or healthcare related field, prefer accounting or audit.

Minimum two years experience in audit/accounting; healthcare auditing a plus.

Professional certification (CPA, CIA or CISA) required.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal.

Proficient in Microsoft Office software programs.

Ability to travel 20 25%.

Knowledge of and compliance with the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing.
