Backend Python Django Engineer needed for heavily funded social media marketing analytics startup in San Mateo. We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to work on solving challenges with big data. Our ideal team member has experience with Python, Django, and MySQL. You enjoy working in small teams and are curious about the full stack. We are the leader in marketing & analytics for visual, interest-based networks like Pinterest, Tumblr, & Instagram. The first to launch a complete marketing suite & incorporate engagement, hashtag, conversion and revenue metrics, We have hundreds of well-known retailers, brands and publishers using our software to easily identify and connect with influential brand advocates, gain actionable insights into trending images. (Can assist in relocation but CANNOT provide sponsorship)

What you need for this position:
- Problem solver and a quick learner.
- Strong CS Fundamentals (CS degree a plus).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with a web framework (Django a plus).
- Python development experience.
- SQL Database skills (MySQL a plus).
- Enjoy working in a small team with direct impact on the direction of the company.
- You love building scalable back-end platforms, but are curious about the full stack.
