• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Skills needed to relate to a diverse set of team members and clients.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Valid California Food Handlers Card
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Team player mentality
Responsibilities:
• Banquet captaining and providing staff supervision.
• Managing and training all bartenders and event wait staff. Your ultimate goal will be to maintain our "just perfect" service standards.
• Running our sales office which includes: handling sales calls, following up on leads, event bookings, handling event details, payment collection, wedding vendor relations, and participating at our weekly meetings.
• Coordinating and managing a portion of the wedding ceremonies.
• Maintaining our facilities top rated service reputation and banquet revenue history.
You will be trained on the Catering software for building: Proposals, Contracts, and BEOs.
Wedding consulting certificate a plus but not required.
Serve Safe Manager certification a plus but not required.
