Corporate Communications Specialist (Internal)



Description

IN AN EFFORT TO PROVIDE A MORE HEALTHY, SAFE AND SATISFYING ENVIRONMENT TO OUR EMPLOYEES, INDIVIDUALS TO WHOM JOB OFFERS ARE EXTENDED MAY UNDERGO NICOTINE TESTING AS A PART OF THE PRE-EMPLOYMENT PROCESS.


This important role supports members of the Corporate Communications team on a wide variety of strategic communications projects for internal stakeholders. Projects include writing memos and plans, research, video projects and training programs, internal social media/blogging projects, maintaining messaging archives, managing and posting content to eTenet and the corporate web site and internal digital signage, and other duties assigned by the team.


Working closely with the Manager, Executive Communications, this position will also be responsible for managing various aspects of the executive leadership and corporate reputation strategy as well as develop and manage the internal communications editorial calendar.


This person must be a self-starter, organized, comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment while able to work with ambiguity and frequently changing timeframes with short deadlines.


Qualifications


A Bachelors degree in English, Journalism or related field is required. Must have 1-3 years of relevant experience working in healthcare company or association. Must possess excellent copywriting. editing and researching skills, and maintain strong knowledge of the healthcare industry.


Must be proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with blogs, podcasts and emerging social mediums is a plus.
