Customer Financial Services Representative (Contract)

The Role

Bloomberg is seeking an enthusiastic Customer Financial Services Representative to join the Accounting Department. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining positive relationships with our customers by providing excellent customer service. Superior verbal and written communications skills are necessary in order to be successful in this customer facing position. He/She will be accountable for a sizable collections portfolio and meeting specific targeted goals related to the aging of that portfolio. In addition, the chosen representative will be responsible for processing customer refunds, write offs, escheatable items, and preparing delinquent customers for Collections. Customer Financial Services Representatives are regularly required to collaborate with our internal Sales, Contracts, Installations and Billing Teams in order to resolve outstanding issues. For this reason, candidates must be able to work well in an all hands on deck atmosphere. This role requires a high level of multi-tasking, trouble shooting, and complex problem solving skills while utilizing multiple system interfaces and addressing a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience - Minimum of 2-3 years Accounts Receivable/Collections experience is required - Proven customer service skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Proven ability at successfully managing a large-scale account portfolio is strongly desired - Call Center & (ACD) experience a plus - Detail oriented - Excellent problem solving abilities - Flexibility with adapting to a constantly changing environment - Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment - Excellent prioritizing skills - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines - Proficient in Excel - SAP experience a plus
