Global Technology Solutions provider partnered with VMware, NetApp, EMC and Cisco Systems has an immediate need for Data Center Solutions Architects with strong Cisco Data Center, Virtualization & Storage solutions Design skills. This will be a customer facing Solutions Architect / Pre Sales Engineering role covering their regional Houston clients.

What you need for this position:
- 5-10 years of experience as a Solutions Architect and / or Pre Sales resource for an OEM or VAR / Integrator
- Strong Cisco Data Center skills (Cisco UCS, MDS, etc.) are sought
- Strong ability to architect, deliver and integrate Storage and VMware solutions in enterprise environments
- Ability to act as a Subject Matter Expert to Fortune 500 clients
- In depth understanding of enterprise datacenter technologies including networking, security, NAS, Cloud Computing and physical datacenter practices
- Strong experience with IP-based and Fiber networking for SAN/NAS technologies
- Xensource and / or Virtual Iron experience / certifications are a plus.
- Any relevant certifications are a plus: VCP, VCDX, VTSP, CCEA, EMCIE, NCIE, CCNP, CCIE, HP Blade Architect, etc.
What you'll be doing:
- Pre Sales Engineering for Storage, Virtualization & Compute solutions in the Omaha region
- Act as a subject matter expert in the design, implementation and support of Cisco Unified Compute System (UCS), VMware Virtualization, Storage, and Cloud Computing solutions.
- Be the go-to Solutions Engineer providing Virtualization architectures from inception to delivery.
- Designing and implementing complex system configuration and standards for x86 platforms at an expert level in diverse, demanding customer environments.
