Retail Business Development (RBD), a leading provider of outsourced retail management, staffing & training for the consumer electronics and telecommunications industries, is looking for Product Demonstrators in Los Angeles.

We are expanding our team to promote, educate and create excitement about a new technological product in various retail environments.


As a Product Demonstrator you would be employed by Retail Business Development and assigned to a dedicated partner store to promote and demonstrate new products.


This is an exciting chance for you to get hired with RBD! We have great opportunities for growth! 70% of our leadership started out as product demonstrators.


Responsibilities:



  • Enthusiastically represent RBD and our technological product

  • Educate and inform shoppers about everything the product has to offer

  • Answer questions regarding equipment, pricing, and availability

  • Engage shoppers and share key messages about the product to create a 'buzz' in the community

  • Enthusiastically create memorable positive experiences for shoppers

  • Provide detailed feedback on shopper interactions and comments

  • Represent the company with a professional and welcoming demeanor

  • Able to work retail hours of operation, weekends, and some holidays

  • Participate in store marketing activities and other special promotions

  • Ensure store display is operationally ready at all times and each customer has a positive experience

  • Must be a key contributor in a positive team atmosphere with an enthusiastic attitude.


Job Requirements:


  • Previous Sales, Promotional, Product Representative, Event Coordination, Brand Ambassador, or Public Relations experience is required

  • Extremely outgoing, enthusiastic and energetic

  • Must be passionate about technology with the ability to communicate everyday benefits to a diverse customer base

  • Familiarity with latest Smart Phones is beneficial

  • Strong communication skills

  • Dependable and reliable

  • Must have access to computer and cell phone

  • Must be able to lift 30 pounds

  • Must be able to stand or walk around the store for long periods of time.

  • All applicants must pass background check



Job Details:


  • Pay Depends on Experience: $10-12 per hour plus a monthly bonus for meeting or exceeding performance based measures

  • 20 hours per week, Friday - Sunday (Flexible Mall Hours)
