Employee Services Lead, Americas

The Employee Services Lead will direct and coordinate all Employee Services activities across vendors for the Americas. This individual will be accountable for ensuring day-to-day delivery functions operate in support of a seamless employee experience.

Essential Responsibilities:


Service Delivery



  • Ensure the effective deployment and utilization of BPO partners.

  • Identify opportunities to leverage outsourcing relationships, while managing demand and ensuring that service delivery requirements are met.

  • Develop organizational capability with respect to performance improvement, including introduction of new processes through analysis and re-engineering, documentation and training

  • Foster and maintain partnerships that respond to customer needs and promote the development of Global Employee Services

  • Ensure service quality and compliance

  • Manage change control for service delivery and continuous improvement initiatives




HR Information and Systems


  • Develop actionable, leading indicator metrics that drive forecasting capabilities and strategic insights.

  • Effectively deploy HR technology solutions for the Americas in alignment with enterprise-wide HR strategy.

  • Optimize and leverage HR technologies

  • Provide data and reporting support, including integration across vendors and multiple technology channels


Continuous Improvement



  • Drive key initiatives to improve cost, quality, delivery and simplification through effective business process management

  • Manage change control for service delivery and process re-engineering

  • Ensure effective demand management for HR services and project support for the Americas by engaging with stakeholders and service providers

  • Form strong working relationships within and outside of HR to enable effective influencing around the HR agenda and to provide an ‘operational’ view on key business decisions



Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 5-7 years equivalent professional qualification.

  • 5-7 years broad HR operations experience and specific HR Shared Services experience.

  • 5-7 years of HR systems experience and ability to communicate effectively with technical experts and to translate technical information into understandable business communications.

  • Experience of HR process design and continuous improvement, ideally with exposure to BPM techniques.

  • 5 years of experience in multi-channel vendor management

  • Strong business and financial acumen, ideally with knowledge and experience of Financial Services, Rating Services and the relevant regulatory environments.

  • A relationship builder, with the ability to influence key stakeholders and possessing excellent communication skills.

  • 3 years of project management and consulting skills underpinned by strong intellect and analytical capabilities. Demonstrated track record of success with key projects.

  • Strong internal consultancy skills, credibility at senior management level, built on knowledge base, trust and experience.

  • Possess a sound knowledge of Americas employment law.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral communication, and the ability to connect and communicate with people at all levels and across different geographies.

  • Demonstrate ability to handle highly confidential information appropriately, with the ability to exercise discretion as appropriate and to remain sensitive to individual situations that occur at all times.
