Owner/operator/manager of apartment buildings located largely in New York City seeks an energetic entry-level college graduate to handle a portfolio of apartment buildings as a managing agent. It will be an advantage to any applicant if they are familiar with NYC HPD, DOB, LPC and other agency needs and requirements. To a large extent, the candidate will be working to oversee the supers and porters assigned to each building, overseeing that all work and repairs are done by contractors in the buildings, reviewing and proactively inspecting the buildings and generally addressing any problems that arise.

An autonomous self-starter will flourish in this position and there is room for growth within the company. There will also be a considerable amount of interpersonal contact with tenants. Because of this, an ability to address tenant concerns and communicate with tenants is a plus.
