Job Description:
Company Overview: Private Family Practice in beautiful Lake Arrowhead. It is family owned and run for 8 years. They are the only clinic in the mountain to offer a Women's Health program including birth control, preventative care, and pre/post natal care.
Position: Very flexible schedule to start and up to full time hours. Ideal candidate will have 1-2 years experience in family practice and women's health.
Major Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions):
.Works as a member of an established health care team,
.Must be able to take medical histories, examine and treat patients.
?Order and interpret laboratory tests and X-rays, and also make diagnosis.
?Record progress notes, instruct and counsel patients, and order or carry out therapy.
?May prescribe certain medications.
?Will work primarily in Women's Health.
?Occasionally with Family Practice patients
?Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures.
Minimum Position Requirements:
? Completed Physician Assistant Accredited program.
? State Licensed Physician Assistant
? Minimum of 1-2 years on-the-job experience
? PA postgraduate Educational Programs
- Bilingual Spanish preferred but not Required
