Description:
This position is responsible for building and testing of all front-end web pages. This involves building pages based on design files provided as well as any client-side scripting such as conditional content, animations, user interactions, etc. You will be in frequent communication with the team and discuss any questions or concerns regarding your development as soon as you have them. You will be expected to meet our existing code quality standards in all areas of development. New standards and best practices are welcome to be discussed. However, our set of tools available within the development environment are expected to be used unless otherwise instructed.
Requirements:
At least 2 years web development experience
At least 18 years old
Ability to work outside of an office, willing to work occasional weekends
Desired Skills & Experience:
HTML5/CSS3
JavaScript/jQuery
Legacy browser support (e.g. IE7+)
Knowledge of basic UI/UX and creative principles
Photoshop/Illustrator
Working revision control experience (i.e. git)
Working knowledge of MVC principles
Full L.A.M.P. stack knowledge or similar
Degrees and certifications (specifically Zend certifications) won’t hurt
