Hardware Asset Manager

Perform management of all company hardware assets. Two data centers and all related equipment, servers, routers etc. and all desk top inventory for all locations. You must be able to track; report on; and manage all infrastructure hardware and should be familiar with large enterprise multi-location environment.

Functions:

• 
  


• Data Validation - Repetitive data validation to ensure quality information


• 
  


• Reporting- Track and report on location, description, utilization and associated data accordingly and coordination of lease returns with vendor


• 
  


• Disposal - Coordinate pickups with asset disposal vendor, update asset data according and coordination of lease returned vendors


• 
  


• Audits - Provide data analysis for internal or external audit requests


• 
  


• Security - Review missing or stolen assets with IT Risk and security teams


• 
  

Specific Qualifications (required unless noted otherwise):

• 
  


• Must have experience with asset management database; our client currently implemented the ServiceNow tool


• 
  


• Must be highly analytical


• 
  


• Any experience with business unit separation activity would be a plus


• 
  


• Must be able to understand purchase and lease contract terms and help manage agreements to our client's best interest and ensure compliance
