Hiring Senior Account Executive Publicist

We're currently hiring for a senior account executive publicist position in Los Angeles. You must be in Los Angeles, CA or willing to relocate to Los Angeles, CA. Candidates must have extensive experience in management and plenty of agency experience in public relations. You must also be involved in developing new business. Job Description

Entertainment & Talent

• Word of mouth, experiential and customer advocacy

• Large-scale consumer, media events and trade shows

• Large-scale product launch campaigns

• Corporate positioning, messaging and writing

• Media relations strategy and campaign development

In this role, you will provide direct leadership and support across the entire spectrum from management to media relations to helping with new business development.

Client Counsel and Leadership

• Develop and maintain extremely strong interpersonal relationship with senior clients, winning their trust as an ongoing resource and advisor

• Maintain ongoing communication with clients, expanding their consideration of campaigns and sharing of our capabilities to support them

• Develop quality standards, ensure client satisfaction, and successfully develop client presentations

Team Management

• Manage, mentor and develop staff on techniques and approach to meeting client goals

• Mine ideas and liaise with broader cross-agency initiatives and leverage insights gleaned into actionable opportunities for clients and client teams

• Supervise all writing, editing and provide direction to ensure quality control

Corporate Expertise

• Thorough understanding of the corporate entertainment space including work with studios and networks, television and film companies, agencies, managers, etc.

• Ability to stay tapped into and abreast of the constant changes and developments in the corporate entertainment space

Desired Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3-4 years' experience working in PR

• Established media relations with writers at varied publications nationally

• Proven record of achieving high client satisfaction and securing media results

• Success building and managing client relationships

• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong strategic consulting skills

• Excellent organizational skills

• BA or BS in Business, Communications or related degree
