Immediate need for HR Assistant- - HR Recruiter- Temporary - salary up to $25.00 per hour
Recruiter is responsible for recruitment of valued based employees. Practices advertising/recruitment strategies. May screen applicants. Interviews applicants. May coordinate the on-boarding process with appropriate supervisor. Develops strategies and implements best practices in recruiting, selection, placement and retention.
Essential Functions:
? Recruits for open positions, including but not limited to advertising in numerous media, employee referrals, on-line ads, professional association recruitment, job fairs, direct interview days (walk-ins). Responsible to develop ongoing sources of viable candidates? Screens and/or interviews prospective job candidates. Conducts interview(s), schedules and may conduct interviews with prospective hiring manager(s). Consults with hiring managers on selection, pay, start date and other on-boarding considerations.
? Electronically or via paper receives and approves all employment requisitions for assigned classifications. Ensures all requisitions are complete with appropriate approvals, job description is up to date and accurate.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor?s Degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business or related field, or High School Diploma with at least 3 years of work experience.
Experience: Minimum of three-five years of recent recruitment experience
Computer Skills: Proficient on Microsoft software: Word, Excel and Power point. Prefer experience with Peoples Soft
Other: Valid California Drivers License in order to travel to other locations.
