Job Responsibilities
As an Insurance Sales Consultant in Training, you will work under the direction of an Agency Sales Manager learning to solicit, quote, and bind coverage to help customers manage their unique insurance and financial needs. This position is designed to give you on-the-job training and development which will prepare you to operate an American Family agency of your own.
Additional responsibilities for the Insurance Sales Consultant in Training include:
Learning to build and cultivate long-term customer relationships
Understanding what it takes to provide the highest level of service and customer satisfaction
Contacting prospective clients for the opportunity to quote their insurance business
Attending networking and community events
Servicing customers with changes to their policies
Job Requirements
As an Insurance Sales Consultant in Training, you must have a great attitude and always take responsibility for your personal results.
We are seeking communicative individuals who arent afraid to lead others, develop relationships, and ultimately become top-producers!
Successful agents have come from all backgrounds excelling in this role is dependent on their willingness to market themselves, prospect for new contacts, and ultimately create large networks through positive community relations.
2 years of professional experience OR insurance related experience OR a college degree
Due to the fiduciary responsibilities of this role, applicant credit history must not include the following:
o History of two or more bankruptcies
o Chapter 7, 11, or 12 bankruptcy within past three years
o Chapter 13 bankruptcy still in repayment
o Delinquent child support
o Open lien(s), judgment(s) or collection(s) over $1000
o 2 or more open liens, judgments or collections of any amount
o Two or more accounts written off and/or settled for less than the full amount within the past five years.
o Accounts with balances more than 60 days overdue.
