Java Developer

Our client is seeking a Java Developer for their Brea, California (CA) location.

Responsibilities may include:

• Analyzes user requirements for system features and functionality


• 
  


• Designs and develops user interfaces


• 
  


• Sets expectations and establishes priorities throughout the development life cycle


• 
  


• Integrates applications by designing database architecture and server scripting


• 
  


• Creates multimedia applications by using authoring tools


• 
  

Requirements for the Java Developer position:

• 
  


• Must have strong front-end development experiences, e.g. HTML, JQuery, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax


• 
  


• Should have Strong Java/J2EE/EE5 (JSP, Servlets, Spring JMS, JDBC etc) knowledge and experience


• 
  


• Should have worked on Application servers like WebLogic, WebSphere, Tomcat etc


• 
  


• Strong development knowledge in WebServices preferred


• 
  


• Good knowledge in Object Oriented concepts and understanding of design patterns (MVC, Gof, J2EE)


• 
  


• Good database knowledge (SQL/DB2 or Oracle)


• 
  


• Good understanding Java based technology and architecture concepts


• 
  


• Excellent communication skills and should be a team player


• 
  


• Guidewire experience (in Policy center/Claims Center/Billing Center) Preferred (optional at this time)
