Purpose of Job:
Position available for a temporary JDE Sales and Distribution Business Analyst to support JDE Procurement to Pay and Order to Cash (8.12) on a day-to-day business, troubleshoot and resolve issues on a timely basis.3-6 Month assignment.
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with management to understand and prioritize business goals and information needs. Translate these needs to functional systems requirement documents and design specifications
• Manage JDE system bugs, analyze root cause of problems and provide direction for workarounds, corrections and enhancements
• Creation of functional requirements document. Work directly with end users to obtain requirements and translate the information into a functional requirements document for development towards a technical requirements documents

Minimum Qualifications:Education:
Requires a four-year college or university degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field.
Experience:
Requires five to eight years of experience in the analysis and support of JD Edwards ERP systems in client-server, midrange and/or enterprise server computing environments in a manufacturing and distribution environment with working knowledge and in-depth knowledge of JD Edwards modules (8.12 or higher release) Procurement to Pay (Purchase Requisition, Procurement, Inventory), Order to Cash (Sales Order, Inter-Branch Sales Transfer, EDI, Advanced Pricing) and Manufacturing Accounting
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Requires:
Must have strong functional skill on the configuration of JD Edwards Procurement (System 43) and Sales Order Management (System 42)
Preferred to have full JDE implementation experience in Procurement area
Preferred to have functional skills and process understanding of Procurement to Pay and Order to Cash JDE modules and Manufacturing Accounting including DMAAI in Consumer Goods Industry
Experience in project planning and control
Must work well under pressure, meeting multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines.The ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing, strong time and work management skills and the ability to resolve critical project issues
Physical Requirements:
General office environment, ability to sit for long periods of time. Ability to move about an office.
Environment:
Exposure to disagreeable elements is negligible.
Safety:
The incumbent must be able to perform this job safely without endangering the health or safety of self or others.
