Seeking a motivated professional to fill an opening as a Maintenance Technician for general work at a well-known company in Norton Shores, MI. Position is for 40+ hours per week and starting pay will commensurate with experienceThis position is not specific to our more sophisticated equipment. It is to provide everyday
maintenance needs in our growing production shop.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
> Manage some material handling activities and incoming freight
> Provide support to counter top fabricators on complex counter top builds
> Set up install/delivery trucks with tool shelving and tools
> Set up and build new production floor work area's including carpentry, electrical, pneumatic
> Perform carpentry needs, ie: build shipping crates, build custom wood jigs for production floor
> Maintain water reclamation system
> Participate in inventory control activities
QUALIFICATIONS
> Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
> Work well in a manufacturing teamwork environment
> Great time management skills
> Jack of all trades (Electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, carpentry, wood working, remodeling)
> Proactive and positive attitude
> Flexible schedule
