Tenet Healthcare Corporation, a nationwide provider of health care services, owning and operating acute care hospitals, outpatient centers and physician practices in communities across the country. In addition, its Conifer business provides an array of business services for other hospital systems. Tenet's acute care hospitals and other facilities are located throughout the United States, with major concentrations in California, Florida, Texas, Georgia and the Carolinas.

Tenet is seeking high potential graduates who are interested in a career path in hospital operations and administration. Great talent is a company imperative, given Tenets aspiration to be a leader in redefining health care delivery and providing innovative and high quality care to patients it serves.



Job Description

Tenet's MBA Leadership Program participants must be working towards a master's degree in business administration or in healthcare administration (within a business school) and graduate in 2014.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess excellent academic credentials, initiative, career focus, and leadership capabilities. Must possess a strong work ethic and people skills with a keen ability to network. Experience working in operations or finance acumen preferred. Candidates should be strong communicators with an interest in healthcare and proactive nature needed to drive results in an organization. Program participants are also required to be geographically flexible.

The official program will start in summer 2014 and last one year culminating as an Associate at a Tenet hospital reporting to the facility CEO. During the program the participants will shadow hospital senior management, rotate throughout key hospital departments, work on hospital related projects, and engage in corporate/leadership program activities. We will continue to provide alumni events and opportunities for participants in the program. Additional support and formal mentoring will be designated. The participants are expected to be promoted into leadership positions at our hospitals.
