Work Days/Hours: Monday - Friday (8:00am - 5:00pm)

Salary: $71,500 - $98,700 (per year)

Responsibilities

Currently, we are seeking a Technical Production Manager.

Basic Purpose: Provides leadership for a staff of technical department personnel. Plans, organizes, and directs the daily activities of the department through subordinate supervisors. Typically manages one Technical area.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provides managerial direction to the lab and oversees daily functioning of supervisory personnel.

2. Continually monitors equipment and recommends upgrades as needed.

3. Monitors and controls operating costs. Reviews and prepares budgets.

4. Ensures lab procedures meet quality standards.

5. Prepares reports for senior management of lab testing activities.

Education/Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences required. BS/MT preferred

MT (ASCP)

- Master's degree preferred.

Work Experience: 8+ years.

Special Requirements:

- Minimum of 5 years laboratory experience, with at least 3 years of direct supervisory experience in the clinical laboratory.
