Job Function:
•Daily monitoring of Account Executive’s accounts
•Organize research and competitive information for AE
•Assist AE in identifying and developing media sales opportunities, leveraging all Media
•Prospect new business and negotiate deals in scatter marketplace
•Actively track liability and provide stewardship of all media schedules (including corporate deals)
•Act as liaison between Sales/Programming/Production to develop and execute unique sponsorship opportunities
•Brainstorm and develop unique in-program feature segments to add value to client media buys
•Provide support to and complete additional projects as directed by AE/management
•Manage relationship with Corporate Sponsorship group to execute all media commitments for corporate partners
•Meet with and maintain relationships with advertising agency personnel
•Work with Research Departments to develop accurate and informative research stories for potential clients
•Work with Accounting Department to resolve contract discrepancies and invoice adjustments
Experience / Special Skills / Abilities Required:
•Minimum 5-7 years of TV sales or agency experience with emphasis on sports
•Knowledge of media math
•Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
•Strong written and verbal communication, as well as, presentation skills
•Familiarity with research data – Nielsen, MRI, NetRatings and ComScore
•Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple tasks concurrently
