Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains manual/automated test plans and detailed test cases that are reliable, repeatable and maintainable
- Be able to map test cases to business requirements, and used to create defect tracking tasks for system test and UAT
- Manage test plans for SaaS applications (from requirements to release)
- Measure and report testing progress and risks
- Identify, report and track errors and inconsistencies in the functionality and usability
- Work with management and architects to define and improve quality best practices, then mentor team members accordingly
- Work with business analysts and developers to ensure all requirement related deliverables are clearly understood, and perform functional testing to ensure such requirements were met
- Executes manual and automated test scripts as designed
- Ability to design testing scenarios with complex data sets
- Collaborate with developers to resolve issues
- Provide support for customer deployments
- Perform regression testing of system functionality to ensure that enhancements do not impact existing functionality
QA Tester Qualifications:
- Proficiency with MS Visual Studio, TFS, unit testing, and the .NET framework
- Demonstrated knowledge of software quality assurance standards/methodology
- Ability to review and comprehend business requirements and systems designs as the basis for test case creation and execution
- Experience with manual test execution, defect identification and tracking
- Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills (both oral and written)
- Experience in SQL server 2008 platform
- BA/BS in related field (Computer Science, Information Systems) or equivalent experience
- Excellent understanding of Software Development Life Cycle, Agile and SCRUM
- Strong knowledge of internal healthcare business architecture and process flows preferred
