Sales Account Manager

Accountabilities:

· Develop and maintain effective internal and external business relationships with a portfolio of clients and upholding responsibility for overall client satisfaction.


· Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the prospect, business, industry, goals and objectives, and integrate into the prospect sales strategy. Continually sell the value and possibilities of CTS through interactions and consultation. Differentiate us from the competition.


· Develop and implement new business sales strategies and goals. Meet or exceed established new sales goals. Utilize basic selling skills, cold-calling, establishing rapport, uncovering needs, relating benefits to product features, handling objections and closing an effective deal for CTS and the prospect.


· Develop and orchestrate creative solutions to meet prospect needs, goals and objectives. Align prospect and CTS strategic objectives and enhance the value of the relationship for CTS. Listen beyond product needs by seeing business process improvement potential and opportunities to add value to prospects customers.


· Proactive contract management with ultimate responsibility for resolution of client complaints and any significant account receivable issues.


· Understand the financial impact of decisions on prospects and on CTS, and quantify and communicate the value of the relationship.


· Ability to identify, analyze and prioritize prospect opportunities, to maximize efforts within territory.


· Work with Sales Team and other members of CTS to transfer knowledge, skills and competency on business initiatives, account strategies, goals & objectives.


· Engage in self-appraisal and continuous learning by securing and acting upon feedback from clients, colleagues and leaders.


· The prospect activity will consist of mid to large fleets.


Requirements


Requirements:


Bachelors Degree is required or equivalent business experience


Minimum 5-7 years experience in sales and business development; Transportation industry experience is preferred.


Travel requirements: 50% 60%.


Preferred residence in either Denver or Houston


Knowledge and Competencies:


Ability to develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships


Proven critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills


Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentations to a group


Demonstrated ability to interface with all levels of the organization


Initiative, related to both personal growth and ownership of client satisfaction


Process improvement focus and related project management skills


Strong PC skills; experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, SalesForce or other CRM
