Amazons Ecommerce Platform Services (eCPS) group is looking for a Business Manager to support several operational functions within the organization. This employee will work out of Seattle and report into eCPS Product and Business Management team. The role is designed to partner closely with service owners and finance stakeholders while directly supporting and interfacing with VP-level executives. The goal of this position is to bring increased transparency, accuracy and efficiency to business processes while developing tools that uncover and explore new value creation. The results of these efforts will be to drive better decision making, resource utilization and accountability back into the business. § Managing eCPS capital forecasting process o Meeting with service owners and ordering teams to ensure accuracy, compliance and execution o Developing a series of reports that measure capital actuals, forecasts and variances o Working to maintain and continuously improve capital systems, tools and processes § Assisting with headcount reporting and tracking o Documenting and organizing all headcount related transactions o Producing detailed reports that track headcount variances by service and/or team § Developing financial models to support business development and operating leverage activities o Working with business teams to predict, quantify and measure the impact of business activities o Developing models that help business owners uncover key controllable inputs to their projects o Performing ad hoc analysis in support of various business needs and objectives § Supporting eCPS Finance stakeholders o Assisting management in preparing for corporate finance reviews o Partnering with finance stakeholders on various projects and initiatives o Attending financial reviews to represent the organizations business efforts and interests eCPSTeam

Basic Qualifications

· 2+ years of relevant financial experience; MBA or Finance degree · Strong financial background and financial modeling skills · Demonstrated analytic and critical thinking abilities · Fluency with Microsoft Excel as a data manipulation tool · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Experience working with multiple business stakeholders as well as remote teams · Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment · Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with Access, SQL, VBA or related advanced data manipulation tools · A passion for entrepreneurial environments, creative thinking and continuous improvement
