Senior Investor Relations Analyst

In this position, the Senior Analyst will support the Investor Relations function in the following areas:


-Support preparation for quarterly and annual earnings announcements, including identifying key themes, drafting the Q&A and compiling data trend reports. The Senior Analyst will need to understand the key components of the Company's business, and be able to identify and source information about the Company through interaction with other departments within IGT.


-Perform financial benchmarking, including ratio analysis for companies included in the Company's competitor and peer group to gain a solid understanding of their asset and capital structure, working capital management, nature and size of revenues, gross and operating margins, cash flow and earnings multiples, and historical growth rates.


-Review financial models prepared by sell-side analysts and create reports that compare their estimates to the Company's internal forecasts.


-Prepare internal reports that summarize investor and analyst perspectives, as well as industry trends, for IGT management.


-Perform routine monitoring activities of sell-side analyst reports on the Company, competitors and customers, including daily reviews for press releases, news articles, etc.; timely review of applicable trade and industry publications.


-Ongoing analysis and monitoring of competitor and peer group companies, including investor presentations, financial reporting and disclosure, analyst reports and websites.


-Update and maintain information on investor relations portion of IGT web site.


-Perform ad hoc research on specific companies, industries and technologies as needed.


-Perform other duties as assigned by the Vice President, Investor Relations & Treasury.


Requirements:


BS/BA in Finance, Accounting or Economics; MBA a plus


4+ years of related experience in finance, financial communications or investor relations


Solid analytical abilities and research skills.


Strong and accurate financial modeling skills


Excellent and speedy written communication skills – the ability to convey business information in a comprehensive and succinct fashion.


Solid verbal communication skills.


Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively juggle multiple deliverables.


Advanced computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).


The position requires a significant time commitment; is demanding and fast paced; and requires the ability to respond to demanding constituencies.


Successful candidates should possess a strong sense of initiative, a high energy level, an outstanding work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently. The candidate should also be a team player, intellectually curious, and highly flexible.
