RESPONSIBILITIES
As a knowledgeable IT professions with skills and experience in Operating Systems, Platform and Networking (LAN & Wireless) you will need to effectively assist our distributed IT organization with the following:
o Administers and supports network and email accounts, security groups, permissions, and troubleshooting for access to network storage, peripherals and printers,
o DNS management of internal and external DNS zones.
o Responsible for security system and offsite monitoring service.
o Provides security access to employees and guests based on request from HR; Update data in building access system as required.
o Responds to alarm company alert calls, 24 hours a day, including night-time responses.
o Responsible for In-line with typical IT duties.
o Involvement with cubical and office build outs, involving both Power and low voltage
(data/voice) cabling and Moves/Adds/Changes/Relocations.
o End-user computer hardware and software purchasing assistance, inventory, troubleshooting
and repair, software support and research; including laptop builds/rebuilds.
o Archiving employee data in secure company location.
o Mobile device connectivity support
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS
AS or BS degree in CS, IT or equivalent experience;
Experience with:
o Microsoft MCSE or equivalent;
o Cisco CCENT or CCNA or equivalent;
o Wireless CWTS or CWNA or equivalent experience.
REQUIREMENTS
BS degree in CS, IT; five (5) years of industry IT experience or combination of
education/experience.
Extensive knowledge of PCs, Laptops, Storage Subsystems, Networking Components.
Experience troubleshooting skills in a network environment.
Microsoft MCSE, Cisco CCENT, and Wireless CWTS or CWNA or equivalent experience.
Experience with Microsoft Office and Sharepoint administration.
Ability to work under minimal supervision.
Experience with Macintosh desktops preferred.
Must be available to provide support weekends, off hours and when emergencies arise.
May need to travel to remote offices.
